Peng Suping pointed out that against the backdrop of sustained global economic development, the supply-demand structure of global mineral resources is undergoing profound changes, presenting a series of new trends. These changes bring brand-new opportunities for international mining cooperation, but are also accompanied by many challenges. Under these circumstances, building a new model of resource-conserving and environment-friendly mining development has become an inevitable trend of the industry, and sustainable development will surely become the broad consensus of the global mining sector. Given the current situation, international cooperation occupies an increasingly critical position in the process of mining development.
