In 2013, Suntrans organized and led a Chinese mining investment delegation on a study tour of mining projects across Africa, covering countries such as Tanzania, with on-site visits to mines and matchmaking with local governments and investment partners.
In the same year, Dr. Lyu Guo, General Manager of Suntrans, accompanied leaders of the China Geological Survey on an inspection of the Kilembe Copper Mine in Uganda and participated in the acquisition negotiations between Chinese enterprises and the Ugandan government, reporting cooperation progress to Ugandan Vice President Edward.
In November 2013, the Chinese enterprise delegation advanced operational cooperation at the Kilembe copper mine and received a two-hour joint interview by 15 Ugandan media outlets; the Suntrans team also reached a consensus with Mr. Herbert Wakaabu of the Kizza & Kiwanuka law firm on Kampala–Kilembe investment.
In 2014, Suntrans provided escort interpretation for Hon. Lokeris Peter, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Development of Uganda; in 2015 it co-organized the Uganda–China Business Forum. These on-the-ground services, one after another, established Suntrans' professional reputation in Africa's mining language and consulting field.
